About Tessa Masterton Bsc (Hons) LCHE RSHom
I live in Surrey with my husband and 3 children; homeopathy is an integral part of our family and something that I am passionate about sharing with everyone, young and old, men and women.
I treat all areas of mental and physical health but have a special interest in anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions. I am also an NCT Antenatal Teacher so see lots of women about pregnancy and labour as well as small children. Restoring and maintaining the health of my patients is something that I find extremely rewarding.
I first came to homeopathy after my youngest son suffered from Osteomyelitis (bone infection) a few weeks after birth, as a result of this he had a damaged growth plate in his leg and we were informed that he would have significant growth deformity in the leg, requiring many operations throughout his childhood. I became frustrated that there was nothing that could be done with conventional medicine to prevent the deformity just to correct it after it had occurred. This led me to seek out alternative systems of medicine one of which was homeopathy.
Using homeopathy and other complementary therapies my son has defied doctors and his leg has grown with only a very minor angle to the growth, which can only be seen on x-ray. Without conventional medicine my son would not be here today however, this experience taught me that there are other methods that can work alongside conventional medicine to achieve the best outcome.
I studied homeopathy at the Centre for Homeopathic Education a renowned college in the US and the UK affiliated by Middlesex University. I was lucky enough to be taught by some of the most influential homeopaths of our time and graduated with a science degree and my license to practice. I am now a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths and thereby practice under a strict code of ethics in order to ensure that you get the best possible service available to my patients.
